Android Nougat: The new Name of Android N!
All the trend talks about what will be the name of Android N, and after months and months of endless speculation. Google has revealed what Android N will officially be called as “Android NOUGAT”.
This announcement came after the company said at I/O last month that users could submit suggestions for the android N.
The Android Nougat release, initially announced in March and currently on its second beta, brings new features such as quick setting menu and split-screen multitasking to the mobile OS, while also improving on features like Doze 2.0 that came with Marshmallow last year. The release also has Daydream, Google’s new VR platform, baked in, though it’ll only be supported by Daydream-ready handsets running the OS.
Android N: When Will It Be Available?
Android Nougat has been revealed too much earlier than it has in the past, with a preview version of Android Nougat made available by Google on 9 March, it was updated on 13 April with a second version, before the third version and the first public beta arrived on May 18.
Samsung, Sony, LG and HTC are usually quite fast brands phones that getting the update to your phone, as is Motorola. Some other manufacturers take a little while to release it, though.
