AngularJS and WordPress doesn’t that seem like a match made in heaven! A open-source web application framework marriage?
Anyways I’ve been interested lately in how I can integrate Angularjs into WordPress plugins to create awesome web pages possibly retrieved from static or dynamic JSON resources provided by the WordPress PHP back-end.
With Angular 2 creating a lot of buzz recently we might start to see more WordPress themes coded in AngularJS. To assist with this AngularJS can provide very powerful custom directives which can be coded to work with WordPress built-in functions – useful for things like search, navigation, pagination and category pages. There are a few examples below of wordpress plugins which you can inspect the codebase to see how its done and maybe create your own ng-wordpress-plugin.
